Reseller Program

The CertTracker Reseller Program lets partners earn recurring commission on every customer they refer who pays for a paid plan. It's designed for IT consultancies, MSPs that prefer commission over white-label, security shops, and individual technical advisors.

Who it's for

You're a good fit if you regularly recommend tools to clients and want a piece of the recurring revenue when they pick CertTracker. There's no minimum monthly revenue, no quota, and no marketing-spend requirement.

How it works

1. Apply via the Reseller page inside CertTracker. Approval is manual — usually within one business day.
2. Once approved you'll see your reseller code. Hand it to prospects or append it to a referral URL.
3. When a prospect signs up using your code, they're attributed to you for the lifetime of their account.
4. Commission accrues monthly on net paid revenue, paid out the following month.

Reseller code vs. invite code

Don't confuse the two:

• Reseller code is a short alphanumeric code that attributes a new signup to you for commission purposes. The customer remains in control of their own account.
• MSP invite code (separate program) is used by an existing customer to grant management access to an MSP. The MSP can act on the customer's behalf but the customer still owns billing.

A company can be both an MSP and a Reseller, and an MSP can use its reseller code to drive new signups before deciding whether to also manage those clients.

Commission terms

Rates are published in your Reseller dashboard inside the product and may be adjusted with 30 days' notice. Payouts go to the contact email on file via the method elected during program enrollment.

Frequently asked

Can I resell to customers I already manage?
Yes — but the customer must sign up under your reseller code at the time of account creation. Existing accounts can be assigned to your MSP separately but won't retroactively earn reseller commission.

What if a customer cancels?
Commission stops accruing the month they cancel.

What happens if my reseller status is revoked?
Your existing attributions remain in place and you continue to receive commission on those customers, but you can't add new attributions.

Start your application from the Reseller link in the header. If the link isn't visible, your account owner can enable the program for your company from Administration.
