Accessing the Community
CertTracker Subscribers
If you have a CertTracker account, click Community (or the Wiki/Forum link) in the navigation. You are automatically signed into the community with your existing account — no separate login needed.
Community-Only Accounts
Some users have community-only access without a full CertTracker subscription. Log in at /community/login using your community credentials.
Anonymous Visitors
Anyone can browse wiki articles and read forum posts without logging in. Posting, replying, and creating content requires an account.
Setting Your Display Name
Your display name is shown on forum posts and wiki contributions instead of your email address. It is public and visible to all community members.
To set your display name:
- On your first community visit as a subscriber, a prompt banner appears at the top of the page
- Type your preferred display name in the input field
- Click Save
To update it later, go to your community profile settings.
Privacy tip: Use a username rather than your full name if you prefer more privacy in public posts.
Browsing the Wiki
Wiki articles are organized by topic. From the community home page:
- Use the search bar to find articles by keyword
- Browse topic categories to explore related articles
- Click Recent to see the latest additions and edits
Participating in the Forum
- Start a thread — click New Post and choose a relevant topic category
- Reply — click into any thread and use the reply form at the bottom
- Search — use the search bar to find existing discussions before posting a new one
Moderators
Community moderators help keep discussions constructive and on-topic. Moderators can:
- Edit or remove posts that violate community guidelines
- Pin important threads
- Close discussions that have been resolved
If you see content that needs moderator attention, use the Report link on any post.
For Internal Admins
Internal admins can manage the community from the Wiki Admin panel (/internal/community/wiki-admin):
- Create, edit, and publish wiki articles
- Manage topic categories
- View and moderate forum posts
- Assign and remove moderators via Moderators in the admin panel
Community Guidelines
- Be respectful and constructive

- Tag posts with relevant topics to help others find them
- Keep discussion focused on CertTracker and SSL/TLS certificate management
